I wish English could be like Russian or Latin
There the objects have pronouns too, so there are nonthey neutral pronouns and stuff
(don't quote me on this I'm not a linguist)
Yeah, personally, they makes me uncomfortable but it makes me feel very comfortable in my identity and I think part of that comes from being otherkin. Since I'm not really human per say, why would I use pronouns to identify a person neutrally? I only use he/him because it's masculine and I am in fact, male. However, Since I'm non-human, it/its is also a very comforting pronoun for me.
I'm happy you've found something comfortable :)
I'm also Otherkin and use it/its as my secondary pronoun besides my neopronouns!
That's really awesome. It's kinda because it's mostly connected to objects I love it more than he, she, or they; but in a different way. Since at my core I'm gendervoid and it is usually to objects which are things void of gender it just feels the most accurate and feels the least dysphoric because there is no connotation of gender there. It's empty.
They, I don't know what it is, but it just always makes me feel off or confused and often I just don't even know people are talking to me or about me. It's like it just doesn't compute and if I know for sure people are using they and mean me I often just want to slowly slide it pronouns or my second set vo their way like 'please.. use this.. please I beg you.' XD
I hope you guys aren't too upset if I use the wrong pronouns. I try my best to use the right pronouns but I sometimes forget...
Wren the Dragonslayer for me i dont care if anyone gets my pronouns wrong, as long as they're trying :) also my pronouns are he/they/it, i prefer he or they but dont care at all if it/its is used.
Understood!
I call everybody I don't know them. Is that a good thing?
ESbirdnerd yes, as long as when you learn their pronouns you adjust to use them
What do you think?
