Reasons why we have stuff like he/him lesbians with a flag and stuff is because is a flag and identity for those who are lesbian but are pronoun non conforming, and the vinician/mlm flag is a all pronoun and male spec gender inclusive flag, but there is obviously going to be specifications under that like with lesbian and he/him lesbians.
But some people may say well my flag has *blank gendered* thing! Why is this not allowed? Because having something such as gay man or lesbian woman is something that’s a no-brainer, it’s obvious it’s just seem as unnecessary. BUT to then add on how it’s strictly for he him without implying it in the name can have problems let’s do an example:
Sally wants to make a lesbian woman flag, and she says this flag is for she/her only, now why is this a problem?
Lets dissect it:
”sally wants to make a lesbian woman flag” it’s unnecessary seeing how we already have a flag for such thing,
”Shaw says this flag is for she/her only”
To then say it’s for a group of people who specifically use those pronouns is now a problems because having “lesbian woman” doesn’t imply it’s for people who use specific pronouns, that can cause an array of problems because people can be mistaken and use the flag or spread misinformation.
He/him lesbians though is a specified thing and is not contradictory unlike lesbian woman.
Not only that there are more lesbians that use she/her and not he/him and so on. They are valid just as the other but she/her lesbians aren’t being erased, we are just acknowledging pronoun non conforming people, they identify under the female spectrum BUT do not do feminine pronouns. BUT, you can and may freely put a flag for she/her lesbians or he/him gay men, but avoid calling it something like a general term like “lesbian women” because that doesn’t imply it’s an exclusive label. So it should be “he/him gay” and “she/her lesbian” instead of “lesbian woman” and “gay men”
Thats all I have to say but in the end
Pronouns never make gender.
