Since lots of people have been sharing their triggers, I just wanting to remind everyone who doesn't know or has forgotten what a trigger is.
A trigger is not something that makes you feel anxious or upset. It's completely normal to feel upset about certain topics or certain things. Things that just make you uncomfortable are not inherently triggers. Keep this in mind when listing your triggers.
A trigger used in this context is something related to trauma, intense phobias, or other mental disorders. It can cause a loss of time, space, an amplification of emotion, because it is a stimuli that reminds someone of a traumatic event.
I want you all to keep this in mind because it is important to remember people's triggers and you should not be listing things as triggers if they are just an uncomfortable topic and nothing more. If you didn't know about this, that's fine, now you do.
