Alright, before I say any of this, please keep the comments civil. I'm looking for a genuine civil conversation so I can see both sides of this, but if this gets toxic or harmful to ANYONE, I will lock it.
I don't think cis people can experience gender dysphoria. I've seen someone on here say something along the lines of "I'm cis but I have dysphoria." and in a way I think thats kinda... uncomfortable for me as a trans person? For 1, gender dysphoria is defined as "psychological distress that results from an incongruence between one's sex assigned at birth and one's gender identity." (I copy pasted that from https://www.psychiatry.org/ by the way)
Cis people don't HAVE that incongruence between their sex and their gender, so why would they be dysphoric about it? I can understand feeling uncomfortable with your birth sex and being cis, but don't call it dysphoria?? That's not at all what gender dysphoria is and I feel like calling that is almost taking away a trans-exclusive experience.
