....Ok I guess this is a notice beforehand. Or just useless words just skip. I just suck at talking, irl it’s so awkward bc I accidentally cut off any convo or I direct it to myself like the natural narcissist I am and now I just talk nonsense about myself but please please please I truly would like to focus on him instead of me and I know with this attitude it’s ok not everyone is going to be accepting uhhh yeah let’s get into the point jsmsmshjsjsjajNsnsndndndndjmd xmxnaksndhdvnuidjidr
My friend has some type of ocd or intrusive thoughts, and social anxiety. His parents won’t believe him if he told them and even if he got diagnosed by a psychologist his parents would tell the psychologist that their son is fine and stop making things up.
My relationship/friendship is actually not that great as we’re into very different things. He just kind of uses me as a rant box but I would still like to help him because he’s basically the only friend I have. Also even though he has a lot of friends I’m the only one besides his boyfriend he’s told his mental problems to (according to him) so the pressure/responsibility kinda builds. Don’t get this the wrong way, he’s not guilt tripping or anything. Anyway sometimes I don’t know what to say. I say very little and they’re not that meaningful(I’m terrible at emotions)
What should I do? Should I secretly try to get a school therapist? Talk to him more often? Convince his parents? (I already told him I’ll be there for him and I believe what he’s going through is very tough and real) I don’t know his boyfriend at all but should I try to contact him? If you suffer from intrusive thoughts, what would you like someone to do to help?
