Trigger warnings will be placed where needed. The general trigger warnings are: mentions of triggers, some controversial identities, tr8nsph0bia.This will be in three parts. Section one of this will be on the users of this wiki, section two on the identities, and finally a general conclusion. Please note, I will have a few negative points, nothing in this world is perfect, this is not intended as harmful to anyone. Much research has gone into this, a look at some of the pages made me want to talk about them, you are all valid.
Section 1.
Everyone on this wiki is unique. We have had trouble sorting issues before, but we now have many more mods to help us. It has been amazing to see the wiki grow over the past few months. I would like to finish the opening of this section by thanking a few users in particular for their help. @Reign of the breadsticcs breadsticc, you are such a great help with everything, pages etc. You were the first person to message my wall. @RoseWatera , you are just fun to be with. @Dreaming-apples , you are very valid. And all the admins/mods I didn’t mention here.
While on this wiki, I have made friends I would have never thought of, all of you have helped me find my identity. I have lost faith in a couple of users but I shall forget about them due to the majority making my experience of this wiki amazing. Everybody has helped shape the wiki. Everyone is friendly, I hope that I can get to know some of you better. WE all respect each other's pronouns and triggers, we are not afraid to make mistakes, as long as we learn from them. We have all had bad times and this wikis users have helped me, and I am sure many of you, through those experiences. I have asked many times for advice, you all listen to me.
Sometimes, I think we could all do better, that is just life. We all make mistakes. I have made many mistakes, you are honest, that’s a good thing, I will never expect you to be perfect. I hope you all care for yourselves. Take a moment before continuing to read this, grab some water, an apple perhaps, take care of yourselves, you all deserve it. I don’t get along with everyone here, I will remain silent about who that is, whoever you are, just know that I don’t dislike you, I just feel like we clash. This wiki has held together, a community that I am grateful to be a part of. I would also like to thank Chaoticcylinder for making the wiki.
Section 2.
This section will have five parts, first part, a look at ss (s*per straight), second part an*mat*s3xuality (i,e,e), third will look at aromantic and asexual identities identities, fourth will be xenogenders and finally an overall look at the identities.
Sup3r Straight. (Cw. genitalia mentions)
This is the only identity that I will talk about today that is not valid, it is transphobic, there is nothing else to it, genitalia preference is fine. What is never okay is the transphobia of this ‘identity’. Denying someone of any form of attraction just because they are trans, I understand people who want be with non-binary people as that is people they don’t love. This is discrimaination, they could love trans people, but their hate is so strong they are denying people the love they need,
Under the current definition, I will not consider people LGBTQIA+ because of this identity. If they hide this and don’t show it, maybe I will accept them more if they are a-spec. This identity is purely a way, at least they way I see it, for the transphobic cishet (cisgender heterosexual/romanric) people to get into our community.
animates3xual*ty (Cw. the word for characters, attraction)
Animatesexuality-formerly known as animes3xuality- is an a-spec identity where the person is attracted to characters from a type of Japanese cartoon known as Anime. This identity is one-hundred percent valid. They usually find real world attraction difficult or impossible. This is a real identity of which I welcome into the community. Everybody experiences attraction differently, some people may find comfort in this type of character that they can’t in real life. This is in no way a mockery of the community, they should be welcomed into the community. The same goes for all the fictosexual identities.
Aromantic, asexual, and other a-spectrums. (Cw. mentions of s3xual attraction, excluding people.)
Some people, including the wider LGBT community have said that people should not be allowed in the LGBT community because they don’t experience attraction like an allo person. This is simply false, LGBT is a collective term. People don’t have to experience attraction, I see it as a way for people to unite over how they are different from how society thinks we should be. I believe society makes us think we should feel attraction, easily, like we can just fall in love. This is not how every human works. Not experiencing attraction makes you as valid as experiencing attraction, no matter how you experience it. There are many types of attraction, possibly too many to name, the main three a s3xual attraction, romantic attraction and platonic attraction.
Every a-spec person should be able to be part of the LGBT community, as long as they don’t hate people who feel attraction or are exclus in any way. There are hundreds of a-spec identities to describe people's experience, just remember, nobody can tell you how to feel attraction.
Xenogenders and aesthetigenders.
Xenogenders are also completely valid. I find it a great way for people to express their gender, I, myself are xenic. Xenogenders are where your gender, with exception to a few like nominalgender, is closely related or feels like a certain object, colour, location, time of year etc. Some genders, such as nominalgender, can be used if a gender cannot be described, but is not agender. All xenogenders were made for a reason, some of the them might seem crazy, like gamegenders, but it could just be the answer to somebody’s problems. Xenogenders give people a feeling of happiness, of finding themself out.
As for aeshetigenders, peoples aesthetics heavily influence these genders. They are sub-category of xenogenders. Most people have the aesthetic along with the gender, not every person with, for example, sciencore, as an aesthetic will use science coric, but it is an option if they ever feel the need. This type of gender can also let someone use something very familiar to them as a gender, this may make them feel comfort or reassurance that their gender is the correct one.
Overall pages.
At the time of writing this, the wiki has 4307 pages, each page is unique, this shows just how many identities there are. As chaoticcylinder put on the FAQ page of this wiki: “There isn't for over ruling authority that keeps track of this stuff, and who people have to go through to make an identity. Literally anyone can be a new identity at any time and they will do it faster than you can ever hope to write them down.
This wiki is a testament to my attempt to do exactly this and I am literally no closer to finishing than I was when I started. For every page that is added five new identities are spontaneously created. I am Sisyphus and this is my rock.” I believe this wiki does an incredibly hard job, keeping up with new identities. Every page was made with care every page has a story to tell. Some pages have taken hours of digging through reddit, twitter and other sites. Every page has a reason, it has helped someone. Thank you all for making these pages. Just thought I would tell you that you made someone's day.
Overall conclusion.
This wiki has been a part of many peoples lives. I speak positively about it as that is the truth for me. I don’t have much more to say other than everything about this Everyone will help you here. All pages mentioned in this post can be found below
