My mom has taken to using zey/zem (or xe/xem-) instead of they/thembc my fam won't use they/them bc they feel that you can't use they/them bc it implies plural (my sister got diagnosed with DID but hasn't told them).

Grandpa 18% not homophobic (I'm being generous, tho we aren't quite sure), refuses to use proper name, says it's "all a game, and he won't play" hasn't said anything about genders or sexualites, refuses to talk about LGBTQIA+ anything, voted for trump, conservative af, toxic christian type, can't go 2 words without talking about what god says is just, and what he says is wrong
