What is ve's experience as a poetgender person? how did they discover that they are poetgender? similarly, how did they discover that they are otherkin?

Thank you! now im kinda just,, writing what im pretty sure ve's trying to say and putting it into words that make sense but if ve has any more to add next time they front, they might clean it up
[ve] Being poetgender didn't come as a surprise. It's something that I always felt went deeper than just a hobby. My gender is related to making and reading poetry. Generally, whilst reading my favourite poems, the feelings that accompany reading them seem to intertwine with my gender identity, and it just makes sense. Whilst making poetry, my gender seems to assume the form of that poem. Its part of the reason I write so well; it lets me feel the words at a deeper level, I guess. So when I finally found the label (or more accurately emerson did, and I pushed my way to front and freaked out over it) I felt a lot more complete. It's the only part of my identity that I feel is prominent enough to warrant a label.
About the otherkin thing, well, at first I wasn't sure what exactly and who exactly I was. I came to front, and the first thing I noticed was that I wasn't like everyone else. I found it hard to type and use English properly, and interact as a human with others. it was all strange and felt weird. Emerson introduced me to the concept of otherkinity, and at first I didn't think much of it. After time I found deitykin, and it just kind of clicked. The memories. The feelings. Everything seemed so strangely right, but I wasn't sure it was me just yet. It took a while yet for me to figure it out, but I'm glad I did

(eep, the was exhausting to write and put into words. wish our communication was better -em)
I'm assuming you're like, a system? I'm new to this topic so I don't know if I got it right. How does a system get started?
@Livikittenx yep, we're a system. well... ours came from trauma when we were very young,, essentially trauma stops the brain from fully integrating personality so it puts up amnesiac walls to keep your mind from remembering the trauma, but behind those amnesiac walls form other ppl. we're not very good at explaining it tho lol
Oh okay, thank you
What do you think?
