That I kind of wish I was a system
But also don't
And also feel a bit like a system?

Uhhhhh
Please don't. It's not fun. Not at all.
For 1 the majority of systems deal with intense dissociation which can be incredibly disabling on it's own. There's also the possibility of having headmates who hurt you or the body. For traumagenic systems (or even just systems with trauma) we have flashbacks. Traumatic memories can bleed through on accident.
Not to mention that we fight with each other. You trap 14 people in one body for 15 years and there's gonna be some heated arguments.
To be honest, I'm really starting to get upset with singlets who say they want to be a system because you really don't. It's not a game, it's mental health. /lu
That's not exactly what I meant, I should have phrased it differently
I don't know right now if I am or not
Sometimes I don't know if some pieces are just me talking to myself, and I'm making all this stuff up, or if the voices are real
I feel like a system but also don't
I'm sort of questioning?
But I wish it was one way or another and that I knew if I was or if I was not, which is what I meant when I said "I wish I was but also don't" which I phrased pretty badly
Like there are fragments of but I don't know if it's Sky talking to Sky or someone else talking to Sky or maybe something else
So I guess I'm questioning if I am
I would rather be 1 person in 1 body than multiple but I don't actually know which one it is
Don't say you want to be a system, that's rude and insensitive. It's not fun or cool to be a system, and even if you don't mean it in that way, please don't say that.
Edit: if the only reason you think youre system is "multiple personalities", i doubt you are /nm
Saying you want to be a system is pretty insensitive, regardless of intention.
It's perfectly natural to feel like "parts" of yourself are talking to each other via an internal monologue, it's something entirely different when those "parts" have their own feelings, likes, dislikes, roles, appearances, voices, quirks, etc. Every system is different, though.
I'd say that it's not very likely that you're a system, but then again you haven't been here long, I don't know you well, and I'm not a mental health professional. Probably not though - I would suggest doing more research.
What do you think?
