Yes and no.
Pros:
We have each others backs.
We take care of each other.
We cooperate well.
We can call out each other's toxic behavior.
We can call out each other's bad relationships.
We can call out when someone else is in a harmful situation
We are like a f*mily.
We can switch out to handle things better.
Cons:
We get asked a lot of questions.
We feel invalidated a lot, and get our existence questioned a lot.
Headmate arguments cause a lot of fronting issues and awkwardness.
Dissociation sucks.
Forced fronting and frontstuck moments suck.
Most headmates (not all) wish they had their own bodies.
Singlets tend to treat us weirdly or rudely.
We arent allowed in a lot of events because we're seen as dangerous.
There is a lot of stigma around our existence.
Some people don't 'believe in' our existence (as if its a religion.)
