Hi! First time using the forum feature so I'm not sure if this is where it goes, but given the page in question being locked, I wanted to peacefully express my opinion here in hopes of it reaching mods.
I myself am a non-binary lesbian, and admittedly am pretty bothered with what's going on with the lesbian wiki page at the moment. The addition of the "Male lesbian/Lesboy/Lesboi" section puts a very poor taste in many people's mouths (including my own) due to the fact that lesbianism itself is widely considered by the queer community to be an exclusive term that doesn't involve men whatsoever (much like how a gay man isn't attracted to women & his identity has nothing to do with them). This, along with the creation of neolabels that are essentially the definition of lesbianism but under a different name & are respected as exclusive terms while the origin of the definition isn't treated with that same respect is frustrating to myself and many other lesbians who struggled to come to terms with ourselves. As this wiki is an educational resource for those who are questioning & those who want to learn more about the identities of people they know, I personally believe that keeping up this conflicting definition of lesbian is going to cause more hurt & confusion than good due to the fact that many definitions of lesbianism conflict with the one on this wiki.
I understand the desire for inclusivity and personally I agree with the fact that more spaces are in need of inclusivity– however, twisting pre-existing exclusive labels to include those they excluded & replace them with neolabels is not the way to go about it. I hope yall can understand where I'm coming from.
