It's not even a horror story, I don't even know what happened to the horror aspect of it- Enjoy?????? Remember it's crappy.
Tw// mentions of food, mom scene and mentions of mom, implication of body discomfort, stranger, demon (not sure if demons need a tw.)
A loud ringing noise rang throughout the room. Teddie woke up groggily, wondering why somebody is calling them. Sitting up in their bed they looked out the window and saw that it was night out. They must’ve fallen asleep earlier accidentally.
They got out of their bed and walked over to their desk. They grabbed their phone and swiped right. They put the phone to their ear. “It’s about time you picked up the phone!” It was their mother’s voice. “I just wanted to tell you I’ll be out until the morning. I left you some macaroni and cheese in the fridge”. “Ok, mom” they replied. “Alright, be safe and don’t burn the house down alright?” “Alright.” They heard her hang up.
They put their phone back down on their desk. Then they walked out of their bedroom into the bathroom, looking into the mirror they stared at their reflection wondering what was making them feel bothered.
Everything seemed normal, their lavender-colored hair, dark purple eyes, masculine face-
Ah. That was the problem. They were in their male body. They thought about it and decided to settle for a male and female body. Closing their eyes they felt a sudden swirl around them. Opening them back up they saw their body was now a male and female body. Their face and overall body structure were very androgynous.
This ability was something they taught themselves at the age of 10. When they realized that they would be much more comfortable in a body of which they can easily change their physical gender.
Being satisfied with their reflection they began to check themselves out in the mirror. “Not bad. Not bad at all. Just like always.” They said to themselves.
They walked out of the bathroom and walked into the kitchen. They walked over to the fridge and opened the fridge door.
Instead of a pot of mac’n’cheese, there was a stranger inside the fridge!
Teddie backed up in surprise, leaving the fridge open giving the stranger an opportunity to get out of the bridge.
The stranger stood at their full height, smiling down at Teddie.
The stranger was a man. He had black skin and long dark black hair. His irises were as red as rubies. He was wearing a dark brown leather trenchcoat that was being held together at the waist with a light grey belt. The ends of the trenchcoat were torn up. Underneath his trenchcoat was a dark grey polo. He was wearing baggy black pants and black boots.
He had a handsome face. His jawline was chiseled, his eyebrows were thick and dark black giving him an intimidating look, he had almond-shaped eyes and his eyes had a sharp look to them.
The one thing besides his ruby-colored irises that didn’t look natural was the fact that all of his teeth were sharp fangs.
Teddie was not scared at all, despite being surprised that there was a random man in their fridge.
“Are you a demon?” They asked in a surprisingly happy tone.
The man’s face went from a toothy smile to a confused look. “... Yes… Why aren’t you scared?” He asked in a confused tone.
Teddie’s face brightened, they smiled up at the demon. “Oh. My. Gosh.” Suddenly, out of nowhere, they turned into a girl. They shook both of their hands rapidly, “oh my god I’m so sorry I’m having a fangirl moment!” They giggled to themselves.
Now the demon was even more confused. Did the human being change its morph into another gender right in front of his eyes?
“How, did you do that little…. Human?” He asked in an inquiring tone.
Teddie looked at him confusingly at first, but then it hit them what he was referring to. “Oh, that? Yeah, I could do that since I was ten years old. I’m not sure exactly how it happened, but I managed to teach myself how to do that” They explained to him. They began to play with their now long hair.
The demon thought about the information he had just received. ‘Strange….’ he thought to himself. Well if this human knows how to do magic, then what’s the point of even being here? “Well, I’m gonna leave this place!” As he was going back the way he came, he felt a small hand wrap around his wrist. “Wait no! I have some questions! Please stay!” They pleaded him.
He looked down at them. He sighed. “Make it quick,” he told them. They squealed happily. He cringed. “Well, first off, what’s your name? My name is Teddie.”
“Darran. My name is Darran.” He told them.
“cool! cool! Where’d you come from?”
“I’m not telling you.”
“Why not?” They tilted their head like a puppy.”
Darren looked at them. “I’m not sure if I want to tell somebody who is wearing a black shirt with the word meme on it where I came from. Whether they do magic or not.”
“Oh. Anyways-” They were interrupted by him.
“Stop. I’m not answering any more questions. I’m leaving”.
He turned around and went back the way they came from. However, as he was climbing his way out something dropped from one of his pockets. Thankfully he didn’t notice the item falling out of his pocket. Teddie waited until he was fully gone.
Once he was gone Teddie knelt down and picked up the object that fell out.
The object was a small book. Teddie opened it. Coincidentally it happened to have instructions on how to summon Darren.
Teddie smiled to themself.
