Practice writing your name in cursive
Lucid dream as your true gender
Fantasize about being your true gender
Wear clothing (or accessories!) that will make you feel affirmed in your gender
If you don’t have gender-affirming clothing or accessories try making your own accessories or make unique combinations of clothing that will give off the effect!
Making art or crafts, in general, will help keep your mind off of dysphoria for a little while!
Write stories where you’re the main character and refer to yourself using your pronouns, name, and gender identity!
Wear heavy and comfy clothing
Get yourself comfy under some covers and do something you enjoy to distract your mind
Focus on the parts of your body that are the most gender-affirming to you and appreciate these parts
Bind, pack, tuck, or do whatever of these depending on your gender identity!
Try to find a place where there are a few reflective surfaces as possible
Do an activity you consider to be affirming to your gender identity
Find venting spaces online (ie, trevorspace, discord, reddit, etc.) and vent about it to get it off your mind.
Draw yourself or make picrews of yourself in your ideal body.
Tell yourself that one day you’ll achieve your goals and everything will be better for you someday (don’t do it too much because you’ll end up setting high expectations for yourself).
Voice train! Trust me, this can help a lot speaking from a lot of personal experience!
Listen to music of the voice you desire and pretend you are singing in that voice.
Sing with your desired voice on the inside
And that’s all I can think of! I wanted to make a list of fun activities that can help distract you from the pain momentarily! I hope some of these help in some way!
I personally have always used methods of distracting myself from any of my mental battles. This includes my dysphoria. If none of these work, then I truly am sorry and wish you all the luck from a fellow dysphoric trans person.
(I copy and pasted this from google docs and I made sure it was seperated from each other, but FANDOM said otherwise. Annnnd I'm too lazy to fix it. I hope this helps still lol.)
