They Variably Identified as Gay, Transvestite (or a Cross Dresser), and A Queen Referring to a drag queen
And while pronouns were not a thing that was usually shared in that time I have seen on multiple sources that they were noticeably uncomfortable when being referred to as Marsha and she/her while out of drag, and that the only changes they ever made to their name and/or gender marker were to remove the Jr. from the end of their name.
I'm not trying to imply that I am an expert on them (i know for a fact I am not) but I encourage whoever edits pages to look into this more so this page can display the correct information. :)
